HOW IT WORKS 1. Start a recording from the popup and use the website exactly as you normally would. 2. Review and fine-tune the captured events, CSS selectors and assertions. 3. Replay it in Chrome, or export it as test code and drop it straight into your project. Enable exactly the events you need on the settings page. • High-frequency ("locked") events such as pointerover and pointerout are only captured while you hold the ALT key, so your recording never drowns in noise. • Assertions: pause a recording and ALT + click any element to assert on it. Includes "Has Exact Text" (toHaveText) and "Is Visible" (toBeVisible). • Editable CSS selectors: tune the selector strategy per project, including blacklists and regular expressions, so your tests stay stable over time. • Variables: wrap a name in double curly braces — {{variable_example}} — inside any input value and fill it in at replay or export time. • Event chain grouping: collapse a long run of identical events on the same selector into a single step. • Re-record a single step while a replay is running instead of starting all over again. • Replay in the same window or a new one, repeat a replay several times with the same settings, and optionally reset browser data such as cookies and cache beforehand. • Automatic "wait for page" handling in every export, so slow-loading pages do not break your scripts. • Options page to manage all recordings, events and replays in one place.
