Stackboard: Bookmark Spaces for New Tab

Turn your new tab into spaces of bookmark stacks, stored as your own Chrome bookmarks so they sync and work offline.

Stackboard turns your new tab page into a calm board of bookmarks. Group links into Spaces (Work, Reading, Side projects) and Stacks (titled columns inside each space), then open what you need in one click. It's built for people juggling dashboards, docs and tools across several projects. What you can do • Drag bookmarks between stacks, reorder stacks, and drop a stack on another space in the sidebar to move it there. • Search every space at once. Press / to jump to the search box, Enter to open the top result, Ctrl+Enter to open it in a new tab. • Open bookmarks the way you open any link: Ctrl or Cmd+click, middle-click and the right-click menu all work. • See what's already open. A small dot marks those bookmarks, and clicking one switches to its tab, so you stop piling up duplicates. • Undo any delete for a few seconds with the Undo button or Ctrl+Z. • Open a whole stack or space at once as a named tab group. • Save the page you're on from the toolbar button, straight into any stack. Small touches • Sites without an icon get a colored letter tile, and a title that starts with an emoji uses it as the icon. • App names such as "– Figma" or "- Google Docs" are trimmed from titles, and long titles keep their ending visible. • New bookmarks carry a small marker for a day, so you can spot what you just saved. • Stackboard reopens the space you were last in. Where your data lives Everything is stored as regular Chrome bookmarks under "Other bookmarks → Stackboard": • Chrome syncs your spaces to every device signed into your Google account. • It works offline. • You can edit the same bookmarks in chrome://bookmarks at any time. • Uninstalling leaves your bookmarks where they are. Backup Export and import everything as JSON with the Export button or from Settings. Privacy Stackboard has no analytics, no tracking and no server. Your bookmarks stay in your browser and your Google account's Chrome sync.
