Patreon Reader is an independent browser extension for comfortable reading and offline access to Patreon posts and collections. Customise fonts, text size, colours and spacing to suit your reading preferences. Save accessible posts as PDF, EPUB or Markdown, or download a collection as one document or a ZIP of separate chapter files. READING FEATURES • Choose a font family and text size using fonts available on your device • Adjust paragraph spacing and line spacing • Choose coordinated Post Color themes: White, Sepia, Light Green and Charcoal, or keep Patreon’s default appearance • Apply matching colours to supported post text, comments and action icons • Save reading preferences locally and restore Patreon’s default appearance at any time • Optionally hide the floating engagement bar while reading OFFLINE DOWNLOADS • Download supported posts as PDF, EPUB or Markdown • Include formatted text, links and embedded inline images for offline use • Preserve Creator, Download time and Source details • Use the post title as the download filename • Download collections as a single PDF, EPUB or Markdown document, or separate files inside a ZIP • Order collection posts oldest to newest, with numbered files and parts for larger collections • Skip locked or unsupported posts and explain the results in a download report • Follow progress, cancel an operation or retry failures while reusing retained work • Reuse temporarily cached text and images across formats to reduce repeated fetching PDFs are generated directly without a print dialog. EPUB files open in compatible ebook readers. Markdown files are editable; embedded-image display depends on the viewer. HOW TO USE 1. Open the extension popup and enable “Enable Reader Customization.” 2. On a supported Patreon post, select “Aa” to adjust its reading appearance. 3. To save a post, select its Download control and choose a format. Downloads work independently of Reader customisation. 4. On a collection page, select “Download Collection,” choose a format and packaging option, then press Download. 5. If images require access to their hosting sites, approve the requested image-host permissions to include them. PRIVACY • Reading preferences and export processing stay local to your browser • Post content, images and cached files are not sent to the developer or a conversion service • Requested downloads retrieve content directly from Patreon and approved image hosts • Temporary export caches expire automatically; saved reading preferences persist separately • No analytics or advertising tracking • All extension code and PDF fonts are packaged locally; no remotely hosted code is executed • Reader font choices use fonts already available on your device ACCESS AND COMPATIBILITY Patreon Reader uses your existing access to Patreon. It does not unlock restricted posts, bypass membership requirements or edit the creator’s original content. Exports exclude comments and surrounding page navigation. Support depends on the post type, available content and Patreon’s page structure. Some characters, media types or large documents may exceed export limits. Compatibility may require updates when Patreon changes its interface.
