Delta — visual page diff

)Overview
Snapshot a page, change something, then see exactly what moved, resized, restyled, appeared or vanished.
Delta tells you exactly what changed on a web page — element by element, property by property. Capture a page as it looks now. Change something: ship a deploy, edit a stylesheet, toggle a feature flag, or just come back tomorrow. Hit compare, and every difference paints onto the live page. NOT A PIXEL DIFF Screenshot tools tell you "4,182 pixels differ in this region" and leave you to work out why. Delta reads the rendered DOM instead, so it tells you what actually happened: button.cta restyled background #2563eb → #1d4ed8 radius 6px → 999px section.hero moved Δy +64 SIX KINDS OF CHANGE - Added — elements that weren't there before - Removed — elements that disappeared, with their last text and position - Moved — exact pixel deltas, including reparented elements matched by signature - Resized — width and height changes above a 2px threshold that ignores jitter - Restyled — 25 computed properties tracked, each reported from-value to to-value - Text — copy edits caught at the node level, so a headline change never hides inside a layout shift HOW IT WORKS 1. Click the Delta icon and press Capture. Takes about 40ms. 2. Change the page. Your baseline is saved per URL and waits as long as you need. 3. Press Compare. Results overlay the live page — hover a row to highlight its element, click to scroll to it, filter by change type. WHO IT'S FOR Front-end developers verifying a deploy didn't shift anything. Designers checking an implementation matches the spec. QA reviewing a release without setting up a visual regression pipeline. Anyone who has ever opened two tabs and squinted back and forth. PRIVACY The pages you diff never leave your browser. Snapshots are stored in local extension storage and compared on your machine. No page content, URLs, or browsing history are ever transmitted. No analytics, no telemetry, no tracking. Delta uses activeTab, so it can only read a page after you click its icon on that specific tab. It is not running in the background on sites you visit. PRICING Five free comparisons to try it. A lifetime license is $29 — one payment, up to 3 devices, all future updates included. KNOWN LIMITS Delta reads the rendered DOM, so heavily animated pages, lazy-loaded content, and long reordered lists can produce noisy results. It caps at 6,000 elements per page. Chrome blocks all extensions on chrome:// pages, the Web Store, and the built-in PDF viewer.
