Lazy Ritchie is a bookmark manager that lives entirely in your browser — no account to create, no server to trust, no subscription. Just a fast, friendly place to save and find the links you care about. WHY IT EXISTS Chrome's built-in bookmarks are a long flat list buried behind a star icon. Lazy Ritchie turns that into a real tool: folders you can drag and drop, instant search that highlights matches, and a save flow that takes one keystroke. WHAT YOU GET • Save the current tab with Alt+Shift+B, or right-click any page or link • A friendly first-run that asks what to call you, then greets you by name • Nested folders, drag-and-drop organising, inline rename and delete • Instant search across titles, URLs and folders, with highlighted matches and sub-5ms results on thousands of bookmarks • Four sort modes everywhere: manual, name, recently added, most visited • Filter chip row across the top of the Browse view — one tap to narrow by folder • A dedicated Folders tab with a clean grid view • Chrome / Firefox / Safari HTML import — bring your existing library in with one drop • JSON export for a real backup, and a one-click duplicate cleaner • Light and dark themes, synced between the popup and the manager tab • Keyboard shortcuts: Alt+Shift+B to save, Ctrl+Shift+O for the manager, / to focus search PRIVACY Everything stays on your device. Lazy Ritchie uses chrome.storage.local — the same local storage your other extensions use — and never sends a single byte anywhere. No analytics, no telemetry, no tracking. If you have Chrome Sync enabled for extensions, your library mirrors to your other signed-in Chromes automatically; Google handles that, not us. HOW TO START Install, press Alt+Shift+B on any tab to save your first bookmark, then press Ctrl+Shift+O to open the full manager. Import your existing Chrome bookmarks from Import / Export at any time. Lazy Ritchie is free, has no ads, and does not sell anything.
