BetterClaw connects your Chrome to your BetterClaw AI agent, so the agent can do web work in the browser you are already signed in to — no separate cloud browser, no re-authenticating, no copying data between windows. You stay in control - Every conversation gets its own labelled Chrome tab group. The agent works only in tabs it opened; it cannot see or touch your other tabs. - The agent works in the background. It never pulls a tab in front of what you are doing and never takes focus from another window or app. - Three modes: act, read & plan, and paused. Pausing stops everything at once. - The side panel shows every action as it happens, and asks before anything consequential. What it is careful with - Passwords and other sensitive fields are hidden from what the agent reads back. It can fill them in; it cannot see their values. - Your workspace admin can restrict which sites are allowed, and the rules are enforced in the browser before any request is made. - Requires a BetterClaw account. The extension is a connector — it does nothing on its own until you pair it with your workspace.
