Better Video Controls for TikTok

Drag-to-seek progress bar and a volume slider that stays open and remembers your level on every TikTok video.

TikTok on the web has a 4-pixel progress line that's hard to grab and a volume button that hides its slider the moment you move. This extension replaces both with controls that just work. SEEK BAR YOU CAN ACTUALLY GRAB • A tall grab area along the bottom of the video, not a hairline • Click anywhere to jump; drag to scrub with a live time preview • The video pauses while you scrub and resumes when you let go • Clicking the bar never pauses the video or "likes" it by accident VOLUME THAT STAYS PUT • The slider opens as soon as you hover the video, no aiming at a tiny button • Mouse wheel over it changes volume by 5% per notch • One volume for every video: TikTok's reset-on-scroll is undone automatically • Finer control at low volume (optional) CLEAN VIEW • Caption, menu, seek bar and volume fade away until you hover the video (optional) • Like, comment and share buttons stay where they are KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS • ← / →: seek 5 seconds (Shift: 1 second) • Shift + ↑ / ↓: volume • 0–9: jump to 0–90% • M: mute TikTok's own ↑/↓ (next video) and Space (pause) keep working.
