Better Tab Manager turns a whole window of tabs into one searchable list, and restores them whenever you need them. Click the toolbar button (or press a shortcut) and your open tabs are saved as a list — freeing memory and cutting clutter. Reopen them any time: one tab, a few, or the whole list at once. WHY YOU'LL LIKE IT: • Fast and lightweight — rebuilt from scratch (Svelte, Manifest V3); the whole extension is under a megabyte • No tracking, no analytics, no account — your data stays yours • Private sync you control — your lists back up to your own private GitHub Gist and merge automatically across computers • See your tabs on your phone — the companion mobile viewer shows your synced lists anywhere EVERYTHING ELSE YOU'D EXPECT: • Save all tabs, selected tabs, or the tabs on one side — from the popup, right-click menu, or keyboard shortcuts • Name, tag, color, and pin lists; drag tabs between lists • Tab groups are preserved: a group's name and color are saved and recreated when you restore • Search across everything you've saved • Safe deletes: every destructive action is undoable, plus a "Recently deleted" page with a configurable retention period • Copy any list as Markdown for your notes • Light and dark themes, compact or comfortable layout • Import / export JSON backups PRIVACY Everything is stored locally in your browser. If you turn on sync, your lists upload to a private GitHub Gist under your own account — never a third-party server of ours. The extension contains no analytics or trackers.
