Trello-style theme for Jira: card covers from attachments, colored columns, live wallpapers, and portal number formatting.
Better Jira gives Jira Data Center a modern, Trello-style look — without sending any of your data anywhere. ON THE BOARD - Card covers from attachments — image attachments on an issue become a cover on its card, so a Kanban board becomes visual instead of a wall of text. - Colored columns — Backlog, To Do, In Progress, Review and Done each get their own color, with rounded headers and a glass finish. - Live wallpapers — a purple gradient, a green gradient, or animated liquid light that drifts across the board. - Daily satellite wallpaper — optional Auto mode pulls a fresh Google Earth View photo every day. - Drag-and-drop fix — long columns no longer misplace a card while you drag it. ON THE JIRA SERVICE MANAGEMENT PORTAL - The same wallpaper on the customer portal, request pages, Approvals and My Requests. - Automatic thousands separators on amount fields (1200000 becomes 1,200,000), while leaving non-money numbers such as national IDs, phone numbers and Story Points untouched. A built-in help page lists every keyword used to decide. PRIVACY - No data from your Jira ever leaves your network. - Settings are stored locally in your browser, never synced to a Google account. - The extension makes exactly two outbound requests, both from its own service worker and never from your Jira page: the Earth View photo list, and the daily photo itself. Your Jira hostname is never sent to either. - No analytics, no tracking, no third-party scripts, no remote code. COMPATIBILITY Built and tested against Jira Data Center 10.5. The extension activates only on Jira-shaped pages — boards, backlogs and the Service Desk portal — and does nothing anywhere else on the web.
