Better Calendar

Custom wallpapers for Google Calendar. Rotate photos hourly or daily, match Calendar to your photo, and pick your own font.

Better Calendar lets you set your own photos as the background behind Google Calendar — something Calendar doesn't support natively, and most existing "calendar background" extensions only let you do by pasting an image URL. Upload, drag-and-drop, or paste an image straight from your clipboard instead. Then style the rest of Calendar to match. New in 2.0: - A bigger, redesigned settings window - Change your wallpaper every hour, every day, or never - "Use as wallpaper now" on any photo - Calendar's top bar and side panel take on the colors of your photo - Pick a font for your whole calendar: Poppins, Arial, Serif, or Cute - Optional: show your events in colors that match your wallpaper Features: - Upload up to 10 photos, stored locally in your browser - Pin a specific photo to a date (a birthday, a holiday) or to a whole month - Let it change every hour or every day, keep one photo, or shuffle to a new one anytime - Adjust opacity, a dim overlay for text contrast, blur, fit, and position - Match Calendar to photo: the top bar, side panel, and overlay are tinted with your photo's colors - Calendar font: change the font of your events and the rest of Calendar (icons stay as they are) - Match event colors to photo (off by default): recolors events on your screen only. Your real event colors, the color menu, and what other people see never change, and turning it off brings your colors right back - The wallpaper steps aside on the full event editor, Settings, and Trash so forms stay easy to read Everything runs entirely in your browser. Your photos are never uploaded anywhere — there are no servers involved and nothing is collected or transmitted. Not affiliated with Google. Google Calendar is a trademark of Google LLC.
