BetBlocker
Overview
Blocks access to known gambling websites with privacy-first browser protection.
BetBlocker is a privacy-first Chrome extension that helps users block access to known gambling websites. It is designed for people who want a simple extra layer of friction while browsing. BetBlocker uses a built-in domain block list and optional user-added domains to help reduce access to gambling websites in Chrome. Key features: Block known gambling websites BetBlocker blocks websites included in its built-in gambling domain list. Custom block list Users can add their own gambling domains to block. Recovery Mode Recovery Mode applies stronger protection settings and a longer disable delay. Disable delay and Lock Mode BetBlocker can add a waiting period before protection can be disabled. Optional Lock Mode allows users to keep protection enabled for a selected period. Support resources BetBlocker includes a support page with emergency and gambling-support resources where available. Privacy-first design BetBlocker does not require an account. Settings and custom blocked domains are stored locally in the browser. BetBlocker does not sell browsing data and does not send automatic messages to anyone. Important limitation: BetBlocker is a support tool. It is not medical, counselling, legal or financial advice. It cannot guarantee that every gambling website will be blocked, and it cannot prevent a user from uninstalling the extension through Chrome settings. If you feel unsafe, overwhelmed or at immediate risk of harm, contact local emergency services or a trusted support organisation immediately.
