Beryl
Overview
Capture a signed-in session as a Beryl test account, so tests run signed in.
Beryl runs end-to-end tests for your web app in the cloud. Some apps can't be signed into by an automated test: Google-only, SSO, or other OAuth logins. This extension lets those tests run signed in. How it works: 1. Sign in to your app in Chrome with a dedicated test user. 2. Click the Beryl extension on that tab. 3. Paste your Beryl access token and pick the workspace, project and environment. 4. Click Capture session. The extension saves that tab's signed-in session (its cookies, localStorage, sessionStorage and IndexedDB) as a test account in your own Beryl project. Your tests then run as that user. Privacy: - It reads data only when you click it, and only from the tab you clicked it on. - It asks for access to that one site for the capture and removes the access right after. - The session goes only to your own Beryl project. It is stored encrypted and is never shown back to anyone, including Beryl staff. - No browsing history, no analytics, no ads. You need a Beryl account: https://beryl.so
