This BeIDConnect extension ensures that you can use your eID card in a number of web apps in a Google Chrome or Edge browser. The installation of this extension should always be followed by the installation of a native module (software). For digital signing, the installation of the native module 'BeIDConnect software' will be requested. This software ensures that the signature website on your computer can make a secure connection with your card reader and eID. Before you can install this software, your browser must be able to make a connection with the software. This extension ensures that connection.
