Beat the Spin tracks daily login reward reset timers on the sites you already visit, so you never forget one that's ready and never waste a tab check on one that isn't. If you visit several reward-based sites every day and have to open each one just to see whether your daily login reward has reset yet, this extension does that check for you. One dashboard, one glance — every tracked site shows "Ready now" or a countdown to its next reset. ───────────────────────────────── WHAT IT DOES • One-screen dashboard. See every site you track, sorted by what's ready, what's close to ready, and what's still on cooldown. • Reset reminders. When a site's daily reset timer hits zero, Chrome shows a notification so you can go collect the reward. • Read-only tracking. The extension reads the reset timer and the balance figure that the site already shows you on the page. It does not log you in, submit forms, or interact with the site on your behalf. • Per-site opt-in. No site is tracked until you enable it. Chrome shows its standard permission prompt before any tracking starts. • Optional guided walkthrough (paid upgrade). A small overlay points at the on-page "collect" button and waits for YOU to click it. You are always the one performing the action. ───────────────────────────────── WHAT IT DOES NOT DO • No automated actions. The extension never clicks, logs in, submits forms, or performs any action on a site on your behalf. Collecting a daily reward is always a click you make yourself. • No password handling. Sign-in happens on each site in your own browser, exactly as it does today. The extension never sees, stores, or transmits site passwords. • No background access at install time. Installing the extension grants it zero access to the sites it can track. Access is granted one site at a time, by you, through Chrome's permission prompt, only after you choose to enable that site. • No browsing history. The extension has no ability to see tabs you did not enable and no interest in the pages you visit. ───────────────────────────────── HOW TO USE IT 1. Install the extension. It sits quietly in your toolbar and asks for no host access. 2. Open the dashboard from the toolbar icon. 3. Find a site you want to track from the supported list and click "Enable." 4. Chrome will show its standard permission prompt for that one site's domain. Approve it. 5. The next time you visit that site, a small timer readout appears in the corner. That's it. 6. Leave the site. When your reward resets, Chrome will notify you. Open the site and collect it with your own click. 7. Disable any site at any time from the dashboard — Chrome's permission is revoked automatically. ───────────────────────────────── YOUR DATA, IN PLAIN ENGLISH The extension collects the minimum needed to do its job and nothing else. What we store: • The list of sites YOU enabled. • The most recent reset timer the extension saw for each of those sites. • Your email address, if you choose to create an account to sync between devices. • Your subscription status (free or paid), handled entirely by Stripe — we never see card numbers. What we never collect: • Browsing history. • Page content, other than the timer and balance number that was already visible to you. • Keystrokes, mouse movement, or form input. • Data from any site you did not explicitly enable. Full details: https://beatthespin.com/privacy. ───────────────────────────────── HOW PERMISSIONS WORK The extension requests only these Chrome permissions at install time: • Storage — to remember the sites you enabled and their timer state. • Alarms — to wake the extension every few minutes and check whether a timer has reset. • Notifications — to tell you when a tracked timer has just reset. • Active Tab — to read the visible timer on a page you're currently looking at, when you invoke the extension. • Scripting — to register the small timer-reader only on sites you enabled. • Identity — to sign you in to your Beat the Spin account through Chrome's standard OAuth flow (never your password). The list of trackable sites is declared as OPTIONAL host permissions. Chrome does not grant any of them at install time.
