Beagle Chat
Overview
Beagle Chat for the browser: your Carrier identity, profile and messages, with a Solana wallet.
Beagle Chat brings your Beagle identity into the browser. • Messaging that arrives while the browser is open: friends, requests, end-to-end encrypted chats, an unread badge and a notification when no Beagle window is in front. • One identity across every Beagle client: create it here or import the key file from the desktop, the command-line or app.beagle.chat, and export it the same way. • A profile you own: your beagles.eth name and avatar, plus a private profile that stays on your device with a per-field disclosure policy. • Share the page you are on with a friend in two clicks. • A Solana wallet as one tab of the same app: create or import a wallet, send and receive, connect and sign for Solana dApps (Wallet Standard). There is no account, no phone number and no server of ours that holds your data. Your identity key, your messages, your private profile and your wallet keys live in the extension's own storage on your device; relays only ever carry ciphertext. The privacy policy lists every network service the extension talks to. Beagle Chat is built on the Decent Network peer (Carrier), the same network the Beagle apps for iOS, Android and desktop use.
