Beacon is the intelligence layer for your TalentOS: the repeatable structure behind how your team hires. This extension is the fastest way to get a candidate from a LinkedIn profile into a Beacon talent pool. HOW IT WORKS 1. Open a LinkedIn profile. 2. Click the Beacon extension icon to open the side panel. 3. Pick the role you are sourcing for and click Import. The candidate then lands in your Beacon talent pool for the job you selected. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO This extension does not scrape. It has no content scripts and no permission to read LinkedIn or any other website, which means it cannot see profile contents, your connections, your messages, or any page you visit. It reads one thing: the address of the tab you are on, and only to recognize that you are on a LinkedIn profile. Any address that is not a LinkedIn profile is discarded on read. When you click Import, the profile URL is sent to Beacon. REQUIREMENTS A Beacon account.
