Look up English words on any page in Vietnamese, hear them, save them to your seed bag, and read bilingual YouTube subtitles.

Engrove helps Vietnamese learners of English grow their vocabulary from the pages they already read. - Select a word or phrase on any page. A small card shows the meaning in Vietnamese, the IPA, the level (A1 to C2), an example, and the pronunciation. - Press "Add to seed bag" to save the word. Plant it in your Engrove garden and water it with short reviews on the web or in the Engrove app. - Right-click a selection to translate it or save it. - Bilingual reading adds the Vietnamese meaning in [brackets] after each clause. Chrome translates on your device. - Bilingual YouTube subtitles show English and Vietnamese together. Double-click a caption word to save it. - The side panel shows your seed bag. Keyboard shortcuts: Alt+Shift+E (open), Alt+Shift+S (seed bag), Alt+Shift+R (bilingual reading). Account and cost: - Looking up a word needs no account. Saving words needs a free Engrove account. - Some extra features, such as AI subtitles for more than three videos a week and transcription of videos without captions, use Diamonds or Engrove+. Engrove (not Google) sells these. They are bought on the Engrove website or app, not in this extension. Privacy: - Nothing happens on a page until you read the welcome page and choose "Agree and start". - The extension sends the text you select (up to 200 characters), and on YouTube watch pages the video ID, title and captions, to Engrove.
