IT Genesis Browser Protection

Company-managed attachment policies and attempt reporting for supported browser file attachment flows.

IT Genesis Browser Protection is a companion extension for organizations using IT Genesis Endpoint Manager. It applies attachment policies configured by your organization's administrator to supported website file-selection, drag-and-drop and file-paste flows. Features: • Monitor supported file attachment attempts. • Block or allow supported attachments according to company policy. • Apply website-based restrictions and temporary permissions. • Automatically synchronize policy changes with the IT Genesis Endpoint Agent. • Display connection and policy delivery status. Reported attachment-attempt metadata includes the file name, file size, website hostname, timestamp and attachment method. This extension does not read or transmit the contents of attached files. An attachment attempt does not prove that an upload was completed. Requirements: A separately installed and configured IT Genesis Endpoint Agent and permission for this extension to access the relevant websites. This extension is intended for organization-managed devices. It is not a standalone security product and does not block every possible upload method.
