Test Automation Genius is a Chrome side panel extension that turns plain-English test scenarios written in Markdown into live, automated browser test runs - no Playwright, no Selenium, no code required. Write your test steps the way a QA tester would describe them, upload the file, and watch the extension execute every action in Chrome on its own. NEW: Platform AI with Free Tokens Sign in with your AIdriventesting.ai account to access Platform AI and parse test steps using free tokens. No personal API key required. Or bring your own API key for full flexibility. NEW: Automated HTTP Authentication The extension now automatically handles browser-level HTTP authentication popups that appear during test execution, so your scenarios can run through protected pages without manual intervention. How It Works 1. Write your test scenarios in a structured Markdown file using the included sample template 2. Upload the file into the extension side panel 3. Optionally run AI Fix to auto-correct any formatting issues 4. Click Run — the extension opens a browser tab and executes every step automatically 5. Review the live step-by-step results with pass/fail indicators 6. PRIVACY AND SECURITY: Test Automation Genius does not transmit any data to our servers. All test execution happens locally in your browser. The optional AI step parsing feature sends your test file text directly to your chosen provider using your own API key, or to the AIdriventesting.ai backend if you use Platform AI with free tokens. Browser state cleared during test runs is scoped only to the origins your scenarios visit.
