Aster Clean: offline TOTP codes, an encrypted local vault, master password, QR import and encrypted backups.

Aster Clean is an offline TOTP authenticator for keeping two-factor authentication accounts in an encrypted local browser vault. Generate verification codes on your device without creating a cloud account. LOCAL AUTHENTICATION Generate time-based one-time passwords for compatible services. Supported settings include SHA-1, SHA-256 and SHA-512, 6- or 8-digit codes, and 30- or 60-second periods. ENCRYPTED VAULT AND BACKUP FILES Protect your account secrets with a master password. The vault uses AES-256-GCM encryption with a password-derived key. Export and import encrypted backup files, with an optional separate backup password. Backups are files you manage yourself, not cloud recovery or synchronization. ADD AND ORGANIZE ACCOUNTS Add an account manually, import a compatible otpauth link or supported migration link, or recognize a QR code locally from an image. Search accounts, mark favorites, reorder entries and switch between grid and list views. QR CAPTURE FROM A CHOSEN TAB Invoke Aster Clean on the website tab you choose, then request a capture of its visible area to recognize a QR code locally. The initial capture may include other visible page content before you select a region. Images are not uploaded to a developer server. USER-CONFIRMED CODE INSERTION For supported forms, insert a current TOTP code after authorizing the account's exact HTTPS hostname and confirming the destination. Temporary tab access is granted through your toolbar action; there is no permanent access to every website. The helper inserts only the current code, not the master password or shared secret. This is hostname verification, not a browser-wide phishing blocker or malicious-site reputation service. PRIVACY AND CONTROL This build has no developer-operated telemetry, diagnostic upload, remote network-rule service or cloud account. Authentication data is processed locally. Copying a code writes it to the system clipboard, exporting saves an encrypted file, and confirmed insertion passes the code to the selected website. By default, an unlocked vault stays available until the browser session ends. Closing only the Aster window does not lock it. Use Lock for immediate locking, or select a fixed unlock duration. Activity does not extend a fixed deadline. Copying schedules an unconditional clipboard clear after approximately 30 seconds. It can overwrite content copied afterward, may be delayed or fail, and cannot erase clipboard history maintained by the operating system or other applications. LANGUAGES AND APPEARANCE English, Russian, French and Simplified Chinese interfaces, with light and dark themes. IMPORTANT Aster Clean works with compatible TOTP services; it is not a passkey, SMS or push-approval authenticator. Your device clock must be accurate. Keep your master password, backup password and service recovery codes safe. The developer cannot recover a forgotten password or restore a vault you have lost without a usable backup. Changing a vault password does not change the password of previously exported files. Minimum browser version in this package: Chrome 121.
