When multiple links are available, open them in background tabs while continuing to choose results. ✓ Pick the code you need Several codes on the page? Review the results or use Select area to focus on one code. The selection uses the original captured image pixels. ✓ Put the result to work Copy the decoded text, save it to a file, or open a recognized web link. Useful for checking a code in a design preview, reading a screenshot, or copying a product-barcode number. ✓ Get another look at difficult images Use Deep scan for a more thorough decoding attempt. Small or unclear codes may still need a closer selection or a higher-quality source. ✓ Skip the sign-up and payment barriers There is no account to create, email to verify, subscription to manage, or scanning allowance to run out. 🔎 START SCANNING IN THREE STEPS 1. Open a page with a visible QR code or barcode. 2. Click the SRGraphix icon in your Chrome toolbar. 3. Choose Copy, Save text, or Open link when a readable result is found. Links never open automatically. You decide which destinations to visit. 🖼 MORE WAYS TO READ A CODE Already have an image? Upload it, paste it, or drag and drop it into the scanner. Image inputs include PNG, JPEG, WebP, BMP, and GIF. Need your camera or another screen? Choose Camera & screen to open the optional workspace. It supports camera scanning and capturing a single frame from a screen-sharing source you select. The larger workspace opens only when requested. Everyday page scanning stays in the toolbar popup. ▦ MORE THAN A QR CODE READER Read common product barcodes and other two-dimensional codes alongside QR codes. Detection depends on the code format, image quality, and available detail. Product-barcode results show the encoded data; they are not automatic product searches or price comparisons. 🔒 LOCAL SCANNING, WITHOUT A CLOUD ACCOUNT Images and decoded results are processed locally in your browser—not uploaded to SRGraphix or a scanning server. The extension does not keep a scan history, load an advertising SDK, or require a remote account service. Images and results are temporary; copies and text files you choose to save remain under your control. When you open a decoded link, the external privacy policy, or the optional support page, your browser visits that website and its privacy practices apply. GOOD TO KNOW Page scanning captures only what is currently visible—not an entire webpage or every page of a PDF. Browser restrictions, protected content, or permissions can prevent capture. To scan local files or PDFs, Chrome may require “Allow access to file URLs” in the extension’s details. Very small, blurry, cropped, or low-contrast codes may require a clearer image. Decoding a link does not verify that its destination is trustworthy. Only open destinations you trust. KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS Open the scanner: Ctrl+Shift+Y on Windows/Linux or Command+Shift+Y on macOS, subject to shortcut conflicts. In Select area: use the arrow keys to move, Shift+arrow keys to resize, Enter to scan, and Escape to cancel. ☕ FREE TO USE. OPTIONAL TO SUPPORT. Saved you a little time?
