You found the recipe. Now you're cooking, and you have to scroll past the entire ingredient list to re-read step 3. Then scroll back up because you forgot how much cumin. Your hands are covered in dough you just rolled out. Simmer puts the recipe in a sidebar so you never lose your place. Open any recipe page, tap the Simmer icon, and it pulls out the steps for you. Each step shows just the ingredients you need right now, highlighted and pulled to the top of the list. Ingredients you've already used fade out. Ingredients you'll need later stay visible but stay out of the way. No scrolling up and down. If a step mentions a time ("simmer for 20 minutes"), Simmer spots it and gives you a one-tap timer. Timers are color-coded so you can run several at once without mixing them up. Cooking for more or fewer people? Adjust the serving size on the overview screen and all the quantities update.
