Bazinet Vault is a zero-knowledge password manager. Your entries are encrypted and decrypted on your own device, and your master password never leaves it — the server stores ciphertext it cannot read. WHAT IT DOES • Autofills usernames and passwords on sign-in forms • Generates strong passwords and passphrases • Offers to save new credentials after you sign in • Stores passkeys and signs in with them • Copies secrets to the clipboard and clears them automatically after 30 seconds • Locks itself after a period of inactivity REFUSES LOOK-ALIKE SITES Autofill is the moment a password manager can be tricked. Bazinet Vault checks the site you are actually on before it fills anything, and declines to fill credentials into a domain that only resembles the real one. A saved password is offered on the site it belongs to, and nowhere else. ZERO-KNOWLEDGE BY CONSTRUCTION Your vault key is derived from your master password in your browser using Argon2id and stays in session memory only. Entries are sealed with AES-GCM before they are sent. The extension talks to one server — bazinet.net — and sends it nothing it could decrypt. OPEN TO INSPECTION Extension code is readable by anyone who installs it, so this one is not obfuscated. Every build is published with a SHA-256 checksum you can verify against what you downloaded.
