Overview

Replaces 'I built/made/programmed' with 'AI built/made/programmed' on Reddit and swaps post thumbnails with the Batman slap meme.

BatSlop is a tiny browser extension for people who have noticed the sudden epidemic of “I made this” posts in programming and tech subreddits. It performs the very important public service of replacing phrases like “I made”, “I built”, or “I programmed” with their spiritually more accurate counterparts: “AI made”, “AI built”, and “AI programmed”. When a matching post includes a preview image, BatSlop may also replace it with the timeless Batman slapping Robin meme, because subtlety is dead and the machines probably wrote the README too. This is not a serious project, not an accusation engine, and not meant to insult individual posters. It does not detect AI usage, judge anyone’s work, or claim to know who actually made what. It is just a dumb joke extension for shit and giggles. Use responsibly, or irresponsibly, but ideally with a sense of humor.
