Switch between ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini without losing your conversation. Hit a usage limit? Want a second opinion from another AI? Baton carries your whole conversation across, so you never start from scratch. HOW IT WORKS 1. Open the chat you want to move and click Export (the small panel at the bottom right of the page, or the Baton icon in the toolbar). You get a Markdown file. 2. Open ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini. 3. Click Import, drop in the file, and click Insert. Your conversation lands in the chat box. Press Send when you're ready. FEATURES • Export the open chat as a Markdown (.md) file: readable, editable, works anywhere • Reads the whole chat, even long ones, not just what is on screen • Short version: a compact export (your requests, decisions, code, links, files, where you left off) for very long chats • Copy to the clipboard for quick sharing • Import by drag and drop, file picker or paste. Also reads JSON chat exports • Works in every direction between ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini • Small panel that follows light and dark mode. File names are listed so the next AI knows what existed; re-upload anything it needs to read • Open the chat you want to move first. Import puts the conversation in the new chat's box as context; it doesn't recreate it in that site's chat history • These sites change their pages from time to time.
