BatchScroll – Bulk Full Page Screenshots
Overview
Capture full-page screenshots of many URLs at once. Paste a list, pick device sizes, download a ZIP or PDF.
BatchScroll is a bulk website screenshot tool for Chrome: paste a list of URLs, pick one or more device sizes, and get a full page screenshot of every page — downloaded as a ZIP of images with a CSV report, or as one merged PDF (Pro). Built for QA testers, web agencies, SEO auditors and designers who need images of many URLs without opening every page by hand. HOW IT WORKS 1. Paste URLs (one per line), import a .txt/.csv file, add your open tabs, or import a sitemap.xml (Pro). 2. Choose device sizes: Desktop 1920, Desktop 1440, Laptop 1280, Tablet 768, Mobile 390 — or a custom width (Pro). 3. Click Capture. BatchScroll opens a separate capture window, loads each page there, scrolls to trigger lazy-loaded images, and saves the entire page from top to bottom — not just the visible part. Need speed instead? Turn off "Full page" to keep only the first screen of each page. 4. Download a ZIP (PNG/JPEG + report.csv), a CSV report, one merged PDF or a JSON report. BUILT TO FINISH THE BATCH • Automatic retries (0–3) for pages that fail to load, while the rest of the batch keeps going. "Retry failed" then re-runs only the pages that still failed. • Interrupted? If you cancel, close the capture window or close BatchScroll mid-batch, "Continue" picks up the remaining URLs and keeps every image already taken, even after a reload. • Error pages are saved too: a 404, 500 or 401 page still gets its image, with its HTTP status in the report, so a batch also shows you which pages are broken. • A CSV report row for every URL and size: status, HTTP status code, final URL after redirects, page title, image size, duration, error code and reason, and warnings. • Pages taller than the maximum height are cut there and clearly flagged: "Truncated" in the results and truncated=true in the CSV. • All of the above is included in the free plan. WHY BATCHSCROLL • True full-page images, including very long pages (long pages are split into several image parts). • Responsive captures at real device sizes with mobile emulation (pixel ratio, mobile user agent, touch). • Process up to 1,000 URLs in one run (Pro; 25 on Free), with pause, resume and cancel. • Runs in your own Chrome with your existing sessions: pages behind your login, localhost and internal staging sites work too — no cloud service needs access to them. • Clean, predictable file names, e.g. 001_example.com_pricing_desktop-1440.png (custom patterns in Pro). • One merged PDF of the whole batch for client reports (Pro), fitted to the page width or on A4 pages. • Hide cookie banners and chat widgets automatically (Pro), or inject your own CSS (Pro). • Results are kept locally, so they are still there after you close the tab. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Everything runs in your browser. Screenshots and URL lists never leave your computer. • No account, no analytics, no tracking. • BatchScroll goes online on its own only to verify a Pro license key with Gumroad (and re-check it about once a week) and, when you import one, to download the sitemap.xml you entered. FREE vs PRO Free: up to 25 URLs per batch, 1 device size, PNG, ZIP and CSV export, pages up to 15,000 px tall, plus retries, Continue, the per-URL CSV report and first-screen-only mode. Pro: up to 1,000 URLs per batch, up to 4 device sizes per batch, custom widths (240–3840 px), JPEG, merged PDF and JSON export, pages up to 60,000 px tall, up to 3 pages loaded in parallel (faster on slow-loading sites), hide cookie banners & chat widgets, custom CSS, custom file-name patterns and sitemap.xml import. Pricing: Pro Monthly is $4.99/month, cancel anytime; Pro Lifetime is a one-time payment, $29 launch price, then $39. Same features either way, free updates, a 14-day refund (Lifetime, or your first monthly payment) and 5 activations per key — each new browser, Chrome profile or reinstall uses one, and we reset them free on request. ABOUT CHROME'S PERMISSION WARNINGS When you add BatchScroll, Chrome says it can "Read and change all your data on all websites" and "Access the page debugger backend". Chrome shows these two lines for every extension that uses the debugger permission, because that permission could in principle be used on any tab. BatchScroll attaches it only to the tabs of its own capture window, during a batch you start, and detaches after each page. It never touches your other tabs, and page content never leaves your computer. While a batch runs, Chrome also shows a bar saying BatchScroll "started debugging this browser". The bar disappears when the batch finishes. If you click Cancel on it, the batch pauses and you can resume. USE CASES • QA & regression checks before and after a release • SEO audits and site migrations: every page of a sitemap in one batch • Client reports and website archiving for agencies • Design reviews across desktop, tablet and mobile LIMITATIONS • Pages that Chrome protects (chrome:// pages and the Chrome Web Store) cannot be captured. • Links to PDFs and other files are reported as "not a web page" instead of being downloaded. • HTTP password prompts (basic authentication) are declined so they can't block a batch; such a page is saved as its 401 error page. • BatchScroll relies on Chrome's debugger API. From Chrome 155, Chrome blocks that API in browsers managed by an organization whose policy restricts extension site access or turns off screen capture, so BatchScroll can't work there.
