Overview

Publisher-side tool to catch ads serving on the page.

BART - Bad Ad Report Tool Catch and identify bad ads on your own web pages. Built for publisher ad-ops teams, BART turns "there's a dodgy ad on the site" into an actionable report in two clicks - no digging through DevTools. How it works 1. Click the BART icon - every ad slot on the page is highlighted. 2. Click the problematic ad. 3. A report opens instantly. What's in the report • Who to block - the advertiser signal, the demand source / SSP that actually served the ad, and the destination URL. Values are clearly labelled confirmed vs inferred, and self-declared data (like bidder adomains) is flagged as unverified so you don't chase the wrong lead. • Recommended identifiers - the exact Google Ad Manager and Prebid IDs you need to find and block the ad: creative ID, line item, advertiser ID, SSP creative ID (crid), ad unit, and auction/deal IDs. • Header-bidding auctions (page-wide) - every ad unit's auction: which bidders/SSPs participated, who won, who lost, who didn't bid, plus CPMs and sizes. Expand any unit for the full winning-bid detail. • Evidence - a screenshot with the reported slot highlighted, plus the relevant ad-tech network requests and redirect chains for escalation or an SSP complaint. Also included: a live "BART" panel in Chrome DevTools showing all header-bidding auctions on the page as you browse. Private by design Everything runs locally in your browser. BART collects nothing, sends nothing to any server, and has no analytics. Reports live on your device and can be exported as JSON or a standalone HTML file whenever you choose. Works with Google Ad Manager (GPT) and Prebid.js. Note: for cross-origin (SafeFrame/AdX) creatives, the browser cannot expose the advertiser name or click URL to any extension - BART surfaces the exact identifiers you need to resolve those in GAM's Ad Review Center instead.
