Fills your TTB Excise and Monthly Returns on Pay.gov

BarrelStrike TTB Filing Assist fills your TTB returns on Pay.gov. Instead of re-keying every line of an Excise Tax Return or a monthly operations report by hand, you pick the form, pick the period, and press Fill. Then review, sign, and submit yourself. FOUR FORMS • TTB F 5000.24 — Excise Tax Return (semi-monthly for most DSPs) • TTB F 5110.11 — Report of Storage Operations (monthly) • TTB F 5110.28 — Report of Processing Operations (monthly) • TTB F 5110.40 — Report of Production Operations (monthly) The period picker covers this year and last, newest first. In January the report that's due is December's. If you operate more than one DSP, a premises picker appears, and the summary shows the plant number that will go on the form before you fill. IT NEVER SIGNS AND NEVER SUBMITS The perjury declaration, the signature, the title, the date, the payment method, and the payment step are always yours. The extension fills figures; you page through to the end, check the totals, and sign and submit yourself. Title is left to you deliberately. The extension authenticates with a producer-scoped token, so it knows who created the token, not who is sitting at the keyboard. A title beside a penalties-of-perjury declaration identifies the person swearing to the report. WHAT IT CAN'T FILL Each form has rows BarrelStrike's data cannot populate. After every fill, the popup lists those rows by name and says why each one is empty — because a blank cell on a compliance form reads as a zero somebody chose. Most are structural and blank on every filing; a few carry a figure or caption you must enter by hand, and the popup tells you which. If the form can't be reached, the extension says so and changes nothing. There is no partial fill: a fill that cannot be complete must not look complete. WHAT IT NEEDS • A BarrelStrike account with the Distillery Operations module • A read-only API token (Settings › API Tokens), scoped to Distillery — Compliance. Nothing the extension calls can change a filing. The extension requests access to Pay.gov at install. Access to your BarrelStrike URL is requested at setup, when you supply it and not as a blanket permission up front. HOW TO USE IT 1. In BarrelStrike, create a read-only API token and paste it into the extension along with your BarrelStrike URL. 2. Open your return on Pay.gov and sign in — the popup links to the right form. 3. Pick the form and period, press Fill This Return. 4. Page through to the end, verify the totals, then sign and submit yourself.
