A Chrome extension for NetSuite bank data reconciliation and scraping

Bank Recon Extension speeds up bank reconciliation in NetSuite. It works on NetSuite's Match Bank Data page: it matches imported bank lines to your general ledger transactions, ticks the matches for you, and lets you create the missing transactions for lines that have no match. MATCH BANK LINES AUTOMATICALLY • Click "Analyze & Match" on the Match Bank Data page and the extension reads the bank and ledger grids for the selected account. • Choose how lines are matched: Name & Amount; Name, Amount & Memo; Date, Name & Amount; or Date, Name, Amount & Memo. • Or describe your own rule in plain English (for example "match on name and memo") and the extension turns it into a matching rule using the AI service you configure. • Finds one-to-one matches, and splits where one bank line matches several ledger transactions or several bank lines match one. • Exact matches are ticked on the page automatically, ready for you to review and submit. CREATE MISSING TRANSACTIONS • For bank lines with no match, open a review screen and create a Journal Entry, Deposit, Check or Customer Payment in NetSuite. • Tick specific lines on the page to review just those, or review all unmatched lines at once. • An AI suggestion of the transaction type is shown for each line; you choose the type and accounts. • Account, customer and vendor pickers are filtered to the page's subsidiary, and the bank account is taken from the page. • Mandatory custom fields, custom segments and department/class/location are detected and asked for before saving. • Nothing is created until you click Confirm. Each created record is shown as a link, and the screen warns you if its date differs from the bank line's. • Duplicate protection stops the same bank line being created twice. REQUIREMENTS • A NetSuite account with the Bank Recon SuiteApp deployed, and an OAuth 2.0 integration record. Setup takes about 30 minutes per account and is described in the setup guide. • Optional: an API URL, key and model for an Anthropic-compatible AI service, used only for custom criteria and transaction-type suggestions. Matching with the four built-in criteria and creating transactions work without it. YOUR DATA • The extension reads only NetSuite pages and talks only to your own NetSuite account, plus the AI service you configure, if any. • Settings and the NetSuite access token are stored in your browser. Transactions are written to NetSuite only through the SuiteApp's RESTlet, under your own NetSuite role and permissions.
