Echo360 Transcript Captions
Overview
Show Echo360 lecture transcripts as on-screen captions. Built for EchoPlayer V2, including Drexel.
Many schools generate a transcript in the sidebar but never turn on closed captions. This extension reads that timed transcript and shows it as captions on the video. Features • Captions synced to playback • CC button next to Transcripts in the player • Press C to toggle • Size and contrast controls in the popup • Works on echo360.org, echo360.ca, echo360.org.uk, and echo360.net.au How to use 1. Open an Echo360 lecture 2. Wait a few seconds for captions to load 3. Click CC in the player bar, or press C Captions only appear if the lecture already has a transcript.
