BaitWall

Warns you when a site lets you do the work for free, then demands a signup or payment to get your result.

Ever spent 10 minutes editing a PDF, building a resume or designing a logo, only to hit "Sign up to download" or a subscription at the very end? BaitWall warns you before you start. • Badges in Google and Bing results mark sites that let you do the work for free but ask for an account or payment to get your file. • A small warning card on those sites says what the catch is and links to free alternatives. • The toolbar popup shows the status of the current site at a glance: confirmed, likely, or no known trap. • Optional scanner: checks unlisted tool sites on your device for signup or payment walls before download. • "This is wrong" hides a warning you disagree with; "Report this site" helps grow the list. • Free throwaway inbox (powered by mail.tm) for sites that insist on an email. Every listed site is backed by its own pricing, terms or FAQ page. Checks run on your device; nothing is sent unless you report a site. BaitWall is free. If it saves you time, you can support it at buymeacoffee.com/rzetelnikkt.
