Bahn Delay Overlay
Overview
Annotates bahn.de train search results with estimated delays. Delay data source: Deutsche Bahn AG, CC BY 4.0.
Deutsche Bahn counts a train as on time if it arrives less than 6 minutes late. Beyond that threshold, delays of an hour or more aren't unusual, and cancellations happen. This extension adds a historical risk estimate to bahn.de search results: how late this connection has actually run, how often it's been cancelled, and whether your changing time is too short to survive a delay. It's a statistical estimate from Deutsche Bahn's own published data, not a live prediction — it can't know about today's disruption, and it will be wrong in both directions. Use it as a rough risk indicator, not a promise. We take no responsibility for your travel time. Free, no account, no tracking, no ads. An independent project, not affiliated with or endorsed by Deutsche Bahn AG. https://yoavschneider.dev/projects/db
