WHAT THE EXTENSION DOES Once installed on your child's browser and linked to your AngelGuard account with a one-time device token, the extension observes chat activity on the sites your child already uses, including the web versions of popular messaging apps, social networks, gaming chat, and AI companion services. It looks at behavioural signals such as when a new contact first appears, how quickly message frequency escalates, whether conversations shift to late-night hours, and whether an AI companion conversation is drifting toward emotional dependency. Each contact is given a risk level and a trust-stage position, from "getting to know each other" through to "urgent, act now". WHAT PARENTS SEE Alerts arrive in the parent dashboard at angelguardai.com and, on Pro plans, by push notification, email, or SMS. Each alert shows the platform, the contact's risk level, and how the pattern developed over time. A weekly digest summarises activity across all your children and devices. When something needs attention, the built-in guidance assistant walks you through what to do next: how to open the conversation with your child, what evidence to keep, and how to report the account to the platform or to child safety authorities. CHILD SELF-REPORTING Children can flag a message that made them uncomfortable directly from their device. Any message a child reports goes straight to the parent as a priority alert, regardless of the risk score, because a child asking for help is the strongest signal there is. PRIVACY BY DESIGN AngelGuard does not read, store, or transmit your child's message content to our servers. Risk scoring is based on timing and frequency patterns, not what was said. The extension does not block websites, does not track browsing history, and does not share data with advertisers or third parties. Your child can see that the extension is installed. All data is encrypted, and you can delete your family's data at any time from the dashboard.
