Tldraw Slide Board

A tldraw-based browser extension for creating daily whiteboards with validated import and export.

Install Tldraw Slide Board from the Chrome Web Store, then click its toolbar icon to open the whiteboard in Chrome’s side panel. Google sign-in is not required for local use. Click the “+” button to create a board. Use the tldraw tools to add drawings, shapes, arrows, text, notes, and images. Changes are saved automatically about every three seconds, or you can click the Save button. Use the back arrow to return to the board list, where you can browse boards by date, rename them, or delete them. Use “Export all” to save every board as a JSON backup. To restore data, select Import and choose either “Merge import” to combine it with existing boards or “Overwrite import” to replace all local boards. For optional multi-device sync, open the cloud menu and select “Connect Google Drive.” Approve access to the private application-data folder. On another device, install the extension and connect the same Google account. Saved changes will be synchronized and automatically merged. Select “Sync now” when you need an immediate update. Offline edits remain available locally and are synchronized after the connection returns. “Disconnect” stops synchronization without deleting data. “Delete cloud data” removes the extension’s synchronized Drive data but keeps local boards. Export important boards before deleting data or uninstalling the extension.
