Overview
Replaces X (Twitter)'s dark backgrounds with a softer tone. Works on both Lights Out and Dim themes — stays inactive on Default.
BackToDim softens X (Twitter)'s default pitch-black dark mode into a gentler dark gray — reducing eye strain without giving up the dark theme you prefer. X's night mode uses pure black (#000000) as its primary background, which creates an extreme contrast ratio against white text. On OLED screens this can cause "halation" — the visual blooming effect around bright text on a black background. BackToDim replaces that pure black with a softer dark gray, splitting the difference between harsh black and a full light mode
