Backstage Sidekick: a Whatnot Mod Tool

Free Whatnot moderator tools: one-tap chat phrases, sizes and emoji, a who-to-thank list for raids and tips, and prebid alerts.

Backstage Sidekick is a free helper for Whatnot moderators and sellers. It opens as a side panel next to your Whatnot show, so the things you do all show long are one tap away. ONE-TAP CHAT • Your own deck of quick phrases: welcomes, giveaway rules, pinned-item hype, follow and bookmark reminders • Sizes, brands and emoji ready to drop in • Phrases fill in the item that's up and the latest winner or raider for you • Send straight to chat, copy, or build a message from several taps • Post as an announcement or hidden with one switch WHO TO THANK • Chat sponsors, tips, raids, boosts and giveaway winners land in one list, numbered in the order they came in, with the time each one arrived • Join a show late and the sponsors from before you arrived fill in quietly; only new ones pop up • When any mod thanks someone in chat, it shows on every mod's list, so nobody gets thanked twice or missed • Tap a name to copy the exact @username • Track a sponsor's bookmarks: see their next shows and how many bookmarks your shout-out earned them PREBIDS • See which items have prebids and how many, and hype them in chat with one tap LISTS AND NOTES • Watch chat for a word (like DONE) and collect who answered, in order • Share a list and a notes page with your mod team using a 6-letter code SHOW CODES (BETA) • Sellers on Backstage can give their mods a show code: rules, chat prompts and notes for the show, plus a notes feed between the seller and mods Free to use. Backstage Sidekick never sees your Whatnot password. The details of your shows (buyers, items and amounts) stay on your computer.
