Backlink Check lists every link on the page in your tab, with its rel value, where it sits and whether readers can see it. Type the domain or page you're looking for, and it finds your link. Open the page that should link to you and click the toolbar icon, or press Alt+Shift+K. The side panel shows: - Whether your link is there, its rel (nofollow, sponsored, ugc or dofollow), where it sits (main content, navigation, footer, comments) and whether it's hidden or off-screen. - Every other link on the page, external and internal, filterable by rel. - Page-level nofollow from the robots meta tag. It reads the page as rendered, after JavaScript, so pages behind a login and local drafts work too. Show on page outlines the link in the page. Compare with server HTML fetches the page again without cookies and shows which links are missing from the HTML before JavaScript runs. It also reads the X-Robots-Tag header. Save a placement to keep the last result for each page, and export them as CSV. Copy a report as Markdown or JSON. The page is read only when you click the icon in that tab, and its content stays in your browser. Saved placements are stored on your device. Anonymous usage events, such as which feature you used and whether the link was found, go to PostHog. They never include page addresses, domains or link text.
