Backgroundless — remove image backgrounds, locally

Right-click any image in Chrome and remove its background on your computer. Backgroundless ships the model and weights inside the extension, so the photo is not uploaded to a background-removal API. Use it when you need a transparent PNG from a product photo, a listing image, or a picture you found on a page. Processing stays on the device. A network connection is not required after install. What you can do - Right-click an image and choose Remove background - Preview the cutout on a transparency grid - Download a PNG or copy it - Open Catalog Studio to drop a folder of SKUs, review marketplace checks, and export per-platform packages How it works The cutout runs in an extension page, not in the website's own script. That is so WebAssembly and the bundled weights can run even on pages with a strict content security policy. Catalog Studio is a full tab with the same local models. What this extension does not do It does not send your images to Backgroundless servers for removal. Optional license checks for Pro, if you activate a key, talk only to https://www.backgroundless.io. Analytics are not included in the extension build.
