Overview

A comedic pixel-art story game about a backend developer, AI assistants and token-maxing. Plays offline.

A comedic pixel-art story game about a backend developer in the age of AI assistants. Click the toolbar button and the game opens in its own tab. It runs offline and keeps your save in the browser. You are a backend developer with almost no money, a job board and Deus, the AI assistant everyone vibe-codes with. Find a job, keep it, and decide how much of your work you hand to Deus. Shortcuts are fast and pay off now. Some of them come back later. What's in it: - A story told day by day: morning, day, evening and night, with Morale and Energy you see and stats you don't - Real job interviews: quiz rounds, culture questions, "find the bug" snippets and coding tasks you solve in JavaScript against real tests - Deus, the AI assistant: three models, token plans, a chat that changes its tone the more you lean on it - Eight companies to apply to, from a food-delivery startup to a big tech campus, each with its own people and reputation - Courses, books and side gigs, a flat that changes with your money, and a few cats - Twelve endings, from burnout to CTO and a few secret ones, each with its own short film - 94 achievements and a run history that remembers what earlier runs saw Everything is written in English. The characters swear; it is masked by default and Settings → Profanity shows it as written. Made by the people behind Deus — Visualize Any Tab Audio (deus-soft.com). The in-game computer has a page about it with a link to the website.
