Azure DevOps Description Diff
Overview
Shows inline diffs for Description and Acceptance Criteria changes in Azure DevOps Work Item History.
See what changed in your Azure DevOps work items without comparing two full blocks of text. Azure DevOps Description Diff highlights word-level additions and deletions in Description and Acceptance Criteria revisions within Work Item History. Features: - Inline comparisons with highlighted additions and deletions. - Side-by-Side and Original views for each field. - Focus Changes to collapse long runs of unchanged sections. - Word-change counters and Copy for the updated field text. - Separate controls when both supported fields change in one revision. - Light and dark theme support. - Azure DevOps cloud support and optional, per-site access for Azure DevOps Server/TFS. Work-item content is processed locally. The extension does not upload it or change your work items. Preferences, including custom hostnames, may sync through your browser account. Embedded images may load from their original servers. To use it, open an Azure DevOps work item, select History, and select a revision with a Description or Acceptance Criteria change. For a custom server, connect its address in Options and approve that site's browser permission. This is an independent community extension and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft.
