Axiload Grabber connects your browser to Axiload, a free and open-source download manager for your PC. Files you download go to Axiload, which splits them across many connections, resumes them after a dropped connection or a restart, and sorts them into folders. WHAT IT DOES • Catches downloads. When a download starts, Axiload's own rules (file types, sites to skip, minimum size) decide whether it takes it. Anything it does not take stays in the browser, and if Axiload is not running or not installed the browser simply downloads as usual. No download is ever lost. • Keeps your sign-in. The address, the page it came from, the cookies the browser holds for that address, your user agent and the file name and size go along, so files behind a login download in Axiload too. • Right-click menu. "Download with Axiload" on links, images, video and audio, plus "Download all links" or "Download selected links" for a whole page, with a picker that filters by file type. • Video button. Hover a video for a download button that lists the video and audio files and the HLS and DASH streams the page loaded. • Toolbar menu. Connection status, a switch for catching, a per-site switch, "Skip the next download", and "Open Axiload". Download progress stays in the Axiload app. • Skip one. Hold Alt while clicking a link to keep that download in the browser. NEEDS THE AXILOAD APP Install Axiload for Windows from https://github.com/motoemoto47ark123/Axiload/releases/latest. The installer links it to Chrome and other Chromium-based browsers automatically. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Data goes only to the Axiload app on the same computer, through the browser's native messaging. Nothing is sent to any server, there are no analytics, and downloads from incognito windows are never handed over.
