Overview

An extension to detect and close the authentication tab left open by AWS VPN

When the AWS VPN clients resubmits your stored credentials it leaves a very annoying tab open in your browser, if you are AFK for a while you can come back to a window full of tabs. This extension will only activate for tabs using the URL http://127.0.0.1:35001 and it will close it as soon as the confirmation message is displayed. This will not affect the sign in process.

It's always closing the focused tab. i.e. when the authentication is in progress in the browser, if I switch to another tab and start working there, this plugin will actually close that active tab which may lead to loss of important work. This is very (very) dangerous.

Great idea, but if often closes a wrong tab. I have multiple chrome windows open, and this extension is constantly closing the wrong tab (from another window) :(
