Overview

A fast bookmark manager in Chrome's side panel: search, edit, tag, and note your bookmarks.

awiar puts your bookmarks in Chrome's side panel, docked beside your tabs, so you can find and manage them without opening a new page or a cramped popup. ▎ ▎ Everything is one flat, searchable list. Type to filter across titles and urls, or tap a folder or tag pill to narrow down. Each bookmark shows the folder it lives in, so you always know where you are. ▎ ▎ It's a full manager, not just a viewer: ▎ ▎ - Add the current page with one click. ▎ - Rename, delete, and move bookmarks from the panel. ▎ - Drag to reorder within a folder, or drop onto a folder pill to refile. ▎ - Add a note and tags to any bookmark. Tags become filter pills. ▎ ▎ The panel stays in sync automatically when your bookmarks change anywhere in Chrome, follows your system light or dark theme, and works from the keyboard: "/" to search, arrows to move, F2 to rename, Delete to remove. ▎ ▎ awiar runs entirely on your machine. It stores your notes and tags locally and sends nothing anywhere. It is open source and built on vanilla JavaScript with Manifest V3. ▎ ▎ Requires Chrome 114 or later.
