waste of time if the effort of pressing `cmd/ctrl + u` does not ruin your day

it does not view the actual source, but reloads the page before viewing (ignoring headers - including parameters)

"Awesome" is possibly a bit overstated. This is just a drop-in replacement for the "view source" option recently removed from Chrome's own menu. As such, it does exactly what is required. If, like me, you think that Google's decision to remove "view source" from the menu was short-sighted, this is the best and simplest workaround.
