Avlo Interview Recorder is a Chrome extension for teams using the Avlo platform (app.avlo.uk). It records live video interviews held in your browser, produces an automatic transcript, and drafts a feedback report — all without leaving Avlo. How it works: Open the interview brief link you were sent. That link signs you in - you do not need an Avlo account Have your video call open in a Chrome tab, then click the extension and confirm consent Click Start recording, and Stop and transcribe when the interview ends Your transcript and draft feedback appear on the brief page, usually within about fifteen minutes The extension records two channels: the call audio from the tab you are on, and your own voice from your microphone, so the transcript can tell the interviewer and the candidate apart. Microphone access is requested during setup and used only while you are recording an interview you have started. Recordings are uploaded to Avlo and transcribed by a speech-to-text provider acting on Avlo's behalf. Recording is always optional and never begins without you clicking Start. Intended for Avlo users, not a general-purpose recording tool.
