When a comment catches your eye, just move your mouse over the panel — scrolling pauses instantly so you can read, expand replies, like, or reply yourself. Move the mouse away and the flow continues. These are YouTube's real comments, not a copy: replies, likes, sorting, timestamps and endless loading all work exactly like they do on the normal page.
