Autopilot for Google Meet

Opens a Google Meet link at a scheduled time on chosen days, sets mic/camera, and clicks Join automatically.

Autopilot for Google Meet opens your recurring meetings for you. Set a link, a time, and the days it repeats. When the moment arrives, Chrome opens the meeting in a new tab, sets your microphone and camera the way you asked for, and clicks Join. A standup that starts at 9:30 is on your screen at 9:30 — whether or not you remembered it was happening. SETTING ONE UP 1. Click the toolbar icon and choose "New schedule". 2. Paste the meeting link, or just its code, like abc-defg-hij. 3. Pick the time and the days it repeats. 4. Choose whether to arrive with your microphone and camera on or off. The schedule then runs every week until you turn it off or delete it. WHAT YOU CAN CONFIGURE • Any combination of weekdays, with one-tap presets for weekdays or every day • Open the tab up to 10 minutes early, so the page is loaded and ready before the meeting starts • Microphone on or off • Camera on or off, set independently of the microphone • Click Join automatically — or leave it off, and the extension will open the tab and set your devices while you press Join yourself • Open in the foreground, or quietly in a background tab so it does not interrupt what you are doing • Turn any schedule off without deleting it • "Open now" launches a schedule immediately, which is the quickest way to check your settings • A "Recent activity" list showing the last 30 actions the extension took PRIVACY This extension collects nothing about you. • No account, no sign-in, no analytics, no tracking, no advertising • Your schedules are saved on your own computer, in Chrome's local storage • Nothing is transmitted anywhere. There is no server, and no third party receives any data • It does not read, record, or transmit your meetings, participants, audio, video, or chat PERMISSIONS, AND WHY EACH ONE IS NEEDED • Alarms — to wake the extension at the scheduled time. This is what makes a schedule fire. • Storage — to save your schedules on your computer. • Access to meet.google.com — used only on the pre-join screen, to set the microphone and camera toggles and click the Join button. The script acts only on tabs this extension opened for one of your schedules. On any other Google Meet tab it does nothing at all. GOOD TO KNOW • Chrome must be running at the scheduled time. Alarms do not fire while the browser is fully closed. If Chrome starts more than 10 minutes after a missed schedule, that occurrence is skipped rather than dropping you into a meeting that is already half over. • Allow Google Meet to use your microphone and camera once, signed in to the account you join from. Without that permission, Meet offers to continue without them and you will arrive with no devices. • Be signed in to the account that has access to the meeting. If you are not on the invite, Meet shows "Ask to join" and puts you in the waiting room — the extension clicks it and stops there. • Times follow your computer's local clock, and adjust for daylight saving automatically.
