Pauses your music tab while a video plays in another tab, and brings it back after. Works alone or with the Autopauser app.

Pause your music when a video plays, and bring it back when it stops. Right in your browser. Autopauser watches your browser tabs. When a video starts in one tab, the music playing in another tab fades out and pauses. When the video stops, the music fades back in after the delay you choose. Your video is never touched. WORKS ON ITS OWN No account, no setup and no other software needed. It works with music on popular streaming sites such as YouTube Music, Spotify Web and SoundCloud. Any other tab playing sound counts as a video. SIMPLE SETTINGS Click the toolbar icon to choose: • Enabled: switch it on or off • Resume music after: how long to wait once the video stops (up to 30 seconds) • Fade duration: how quickly the music fades out and back in • Lower volume instead of pausing: keep the music playing, just quieter, and choose how quiet EVEN BETTER WITH THE AUTOPAUSER APP (OPTIONAL) The extension only sees your browser. If you also listen in desktop music apps, add the free Autopauser app for Windows (autopauser.com). While it is running, the app takes the lead: the extension tells it exactly which tab is music and which is video, so your desktop music and your browser tabs are handled together. Close the app and the extension takes over again by itself. No setup either way.
