Overview
This extension saves you time by automatically loading information about a vehicle's MOT history on autotrader.co.uk
AutoMOT automatically loads the MOT history of vehicles you're browsing anywhere on the web. How It Works Using DVLA data, updated daily, AutoMOT uses AI to obtain the registration plate from the advert image and then cross references this against the DVLA database to show you the vehicle's history as you browse. No more switching tabs and memorising registration plates! Why use AutoMOT? Looking at a vehicles' previous MOT history can tell you whether it has been well maintained, can give you items to negotiate price with a seller or just give you an indication of whether the vehicle is safe to drive. Extremely easy to use, once you've installed the extension just login and navigate to your preferred used car buying website and the extension will start working once you click into an advert.

So far so good. I've used it on a number of cars where I thought would be potential buys, but after using this neat little Chrome extension, it comes up with hidden facts about the cars I've shortlisted.

Can't close the new pop-up overlay when using on ebay.co.uk. The (X) icon doesn't do anything.
