Living in Japan, filling out forms can feel like a never-ending hassle—hospital appointments, restaurant reservations, administrative applications, membership registrations… Every time, you have to re-enter your name, pronunciation, address, phone number, and more. **Autoform** turns all of that into a single click. Save your personal information once, then click the toolbar icon on any Japanese form. The extension automatically detects the input fields on the page and fills in only the items required for that form. ■ **Automatically handles the quirks of Japanese forms** ・**Name:** Save kanji, furigana, and romanized versions separately. Even if only the “last name” field is labeled, Autoform can infer the “first name” field automatically. ・**Furigana:** Automatically converts to full-width katakana. Hiragana fields are filled with hiragana, and half-width kana fields are also supported when specified. ・**Date of birth:** Automatically converts Gregorian calendar dates into Japanese era dates — Showa, Heisei, Reiwa — and can also fill era dropdown menus. ・**Address:** Automatically splits and fills prefecture, city/ward/town/village, street address, and building name. ・**Phone number & postal code:** Automatically splits them into multiple half-width fields, such as 090 / 1234 / 5678. ・**Company name pronunciation:** Correctly fills company-name readings without confusing them with personal names. ■ **Privacy first** ・All personal information is stored only in your local browser using `chrome.storage.local`; it is never sent externally. ・The entire form-filling process runs offline.
